I’m turning 30 this year, and I'm celebrating early...

...with a

two-night friends camping^* trip

at my folks' place near Bennington, Vermont

October 20-22, 2023!

* plenty of space to sleep indoors too.

TRAVEL

🚗 By car

Bennington is about 3 hours from Boston and just under 4 hours from Brooklyn.

If you have a car, please take some folks with you! Best camp friends are always made on the bus.

We can arrange to pick you up if you take one of these to trains to camp:

• FRIDAY Oct 20: 56 Vermonter from NY Penn Station to Greenfield, MA, 11:33AM - 4:22PM
• SATURDAY Oct 21: 281 Empire Service from NY Penn Station to Albany-Rensselaer, 8:40AM - 11:20AM

And we can drop you off if you take this train back:

• SUNDAY Oct 22: 449 Lake Shore Limited from Pittsfield, MA to NY Penn Station, 4:42PM - 10:15PM.

🧣 Packing list

• 🧥 Warm clothes with a rain layer. Flannel is encouraged. Temps will be 40-60 degrees, with perhaps some ☔️.
• 🥾 Shoes you don't mind getting dirty/muddy.
• 🪥 Toiletries / meds
• 👙 A bathing suit for the sauna
• 🎸 musical instruments
• 🎲 favorite board games
• 🥃 favorite whiskey, wine, non-alcoholic cozy beverage or cozy fall snack!

⛺️ Sleeping arrangements

Everyone will get a bed, couch, or air mattress in the house - some folks may have to get cozy.
